Break the seal of a new deck of cards in front of the spectator, then have it shuffled by anyone! In front of you may be your cocktail, soft drink or best yet, a bottle of Highly Clairvoyant Pet's ESP (Extra smooth pub) Lager Beer.

You don't have to be beer drinker, just a "Bare Thinker". After the cards are shuffled and  returned to you, a white sticker is placed on the back of the top card and you write the day's date on it. Again, the cards are well shuffled, the ribbon spread face up in front of the bottle of Pete's ESP. Your spectator is asked to name ANY CARD and it is slide from the spread ad placed against the bottle for all to see. Lets say it is the Six of Diamond.  Your spectator is asked to think of the card as you place the bottle on top of it so you won't be able to touch it. The deck is handed to someone else to find the card that you marked with the sticker. As this is done you explain that you power of ESP have been in effect above, in front and below that bottle. The other 51 cards have no sticker on them. The spectator lifts the bottle, turn over the six of diamond and its THE CARD WITH THE STICKER ON IT!

Remember, you can use a brand new deck! Your spectator can change their mind if they'd like. There is no forcing just a clever method on inducting ESP and you can use a soft drink glass of non-alcoholic beer if you don't drink or under age!
